We are looking for someone who is eager to use their communication skills and outgoing personality to help new and existing credit union members explore new products while providing exceptional phone service to meet their financial needs.

they assist members over the phone, from start to finish, with all needs.
Not so simply:
These employees are responsible for taking and making phone calls to members and participating vendors to complete member requests including phone transfers, payments, fraud disputes, card issues, balance inquiries, loan applications, and many other things.
They will also be able to build meaningful relationships with members of our Credit Union and people of our community.
From these relationships, the Digital Member Center Representative will identify individualized needs and help these people gain understanding of how our products and services will help those needs.
Once those needs are identified, the Digital Member Center Representative will be able to help open accounts and process loan applications over the phone.
More experienced DMCRs will become the go-to for business accounts, specialized accounts, mortgages, and any other member needs that can become complex while working in the Digital Member Center.

What is the schedule? A DMCR will be expected to have availability from approximately 8:
00am to 5:
30pm and will need to work an average of 2-3 Saturday's a month as well as having flexibility in their schedule to cover vacations, call-ins, and other scheduling situations that arise.

Digital Member Center Representative Role:
To assist members and potential members with their telephone requests; explains services, responds to problems, and directs phone calls to the appropriate area.
Essential Functions &
Responsibilities:
Assists members and potential members with their telephone requests; answers questions about products and services and resolves problems that are within their authority to resolve; refers problems that are beyond their authority to their supervisor, along with their recommendations.
Identifies cross-sell opportunities and cross-sells services to members.
Forwards account openings and loan applications to available Digital Member Center or MSRs to complete.
Assists other departments as needed.
Maintains member account information on computer system.
Performs other job related duties required or assigned.
Performance Measurements:

Provide informed, prompt, professional and accurate service and support to all members and associates by answering the telephone promptly and returning messages within the same business day.

Direct all telephone calls to the appropriate person with minimum transfers.
3.
Process member transactions with accuracy.
4.
Successfully recommend new products or services to members you work with over the phone.
5.
Develop and maintain knowledge of all relevant policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
6.
Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries in a timely, friendly and accurate manner.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience:
Up to six months of similar or related experience.
Education:
A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills:
Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job.
Work involves personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization, generally regarding routine matters for purposes of giving or obtaining information which may require some discussion.
Other Skills:
Good listening and telephone skills; able to operate a computer keyboard; able to make decisions with minimum information.
