Quality SpecialistJob DescriptionOnPoint is seeking a full-time, motivated, and energetic Quality Specialist.
Under the general supervision of the Director of Quality Innovation and Compliance, the quality specialist is responsible for reviewing internal and external clinical documentation to ensure compliance with federal, state, local, contractual, regulatory, and clinical best practice standards, and guidelines.

Qualifications:
A master's degree in social work, psychology, counseling, quality management, human services, or a related field.
One year of professional experience in a behavioral healthcare or a community mental health setting performing clinical duties and responsibilities.
Must meet credentialing qualifications in at least one of the following:
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) Childrens Mental Health Professional (CMHP) Substance Abuse Treatment Specialist (SATS) GENERAL
Responsibilities:
Assists with organizational implementation of the quality improvement plan in accordance with the QAPIP of the organization, federal and state laws/regulations, and accreditation standards.
Performs analytical monitoring of internal and provider regulations.
Monitors Medicaid and contractual agreements.
Monitors Medicaid Verification Claims and Michigan Mission Based Performance Indictor Set (MMBPIS) data.
Develops and monitors performance improvement targets for quality, service, and the efficiency of the organization.
Implements changes targeted at system improvement.
Measures and evaluates attainment of results.
Implements systematic improvements.
Ensures assigned service providers maintain quality services.
Assures improvement activities are documented and reported.
Analyzes, updates, and modifies standard operating procedures and processes to continually improve QI services.
Assist the QI Coordinator with the planning, organization, and management of the quality improvement program (QI).
Performs statistical analysis and data analysis.
Assists in organizational studies and evaluations.
Designs systems and procedures.
Assists the QI Coordinator and Director with the coordination and execution of MDHHS site visits.
Develops and implements corrective action plans and improvement plans.
Assists with survey process (implementation, distribution, collection, analysis, reporting, and improvement project design and oversight).
Ensures that treatment plans are reflective of Home and Community Based Services (HCBS) and are based on the person-centered planning processes and provided in settings where individuals have full access and integration into the community.
Conducts clinical documentation reviews of residential and non-residential provider documentation meet all regulatory requirements and provide a safe and healthy environment, that staff are qualified and that the needs identified in the individual plan of services (IPOS) are being met.
Performs related duties as assigned.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
