3rd Shift Bid Level Compression Cleaner, PLT5

Posted 10/29/18Removal 11/5/18 at 10amReporting to the tablet manufacturing supervisor, this position will work in either plant 5. The incumbent will work on a team to complete routine and major cleans on tablet presses in a timely manner. Duties include removing, washing, and polishing parts/presses/punches that have come into contact with product(s), while following appropriate SOPs and cGMP expectations. Other responsibilities include making dust cups for the punches, cleaning suites and support equipment, reinstalling parts and punches after the cleaning inspection is complete, as well as verifying proper machine settings. Incumbents may be required to assist in the set-up of presses and assisting area troubleshooters with batch changes and punch pulls. The incumbent will be required to complete the required documentation for all cleaning processes. High school diploma/GED required. Applicants must have excellent attendance and work records. Required skills include strong mathematical skills, ability to read and understand technical documents (including machine drawings and SOPs), and basic mechanical ability. Other required skills include leadership, organization, problem solving, good communication and record keeping. Computer literacy including Microsoft Office preferred. Previous compression experience, training experience, equipment verification and production knowledge is preferred. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, possess sufficient mobility, be willing and able to work in confined spaces such as under equipment, have the physical ability to stand in one place for extended periods of time and be able to ascend small step-ladders to reach equipment. Applicants must successfully complete core skills within 30 days and will be required to complete: (2) external academic courses associated with mathematical skills, (2) interpersonal classes (internal training), and (3) mechanical/technical classes (internal training) within 18 months of accepting the position.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
