We are currently looking for a Category Insights Manager for our Allegan Mi Sales and Marketing Headquarters. The Category Management team is responsible for working with Sales & Marketing to develop fact based category solutions. Working with the marketing team, this role will understand the priorities, competitive trends, and new product launches being developed. The Category Insights Manager supports category reviews and supporting sales materials. Additionally, the role is accountable to work directly with sales teams to support go-to-market initiatives for their trade customers through the application of consumer research learnings, secondary sources, and syndicated or customer data. Perrigo provides in-depth consumer and marketplace insights to provide added value and differentiation in the industry - Perrigo Does More! Three goals of this role: 1.) Support business building initiatives for Perrigo, 2.) Provide fact-based recommendations to improve retailers sales mix of store brand (private label) and their categories, and 3.) Create an enhanced perception of the value that Perrigo provides for customers.
Skills & Requirements:

  • 5-7 years with proven results in a category management role,
  • Comfort using syndicated data tools/measures of IRI or Nielsen,
  • Experience with panel data metrics,
  • Prior knowledge working with customer loyalty data is preferred,
  • Solid analytical acumen and curiosity to investigate root causes,
  • CPG experience preferred working with major food, mass, drug customers
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to tell a visually appealing story with data and graphics,
  • Thought leadership in driving continuous improvement regarding our capabilities,
  • Team player with good collaboration skills able to work across functions to deliver optimal results,
  • Ability to juggle many projects and manage time effectively,
  • Strong communication and project management skills to ensure alignment on deliverables,
  • Able to work autonomously and self-direct key initiatives in a timely manner,
  • Superior ethical standards in business and working with others,
  • Bachelor s degree required, and MBA preferred

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
