We are currently looking for an Analyst, Commercial Analytics for our Sales Team in Allegan MI. Key contributor to CHCA Commercial Analytics team providing both ongoing and ad hoc reporting and analysis in support of Commercial organization. Support ongoing Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by serving as the voice of sales. Collaborate with account-level sales leadership to

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales projections
  • Prepare variance analyses (actual-vs.-projected, projected-vs.-prior year, etc.)
  • Translate numbers into stories and message the data in a manner which drives business results
  • Support various CHCA sales & margin enhancement initiatives through:
  • Collaborating with Commercial Analytics and Sales & Marketing leadership to developing a detailed understanding of the underlying business issues and opportunities
  • Utilizing all available sources of data to identify the best way to capture and consolidate relevant information
  • Develop efficient, repeatable processes for reporting progress and results towards goals
  • Examples of initiatives include: SKU rationalization, display profitability, new product sell-in opportunities
  • Represent Commercial Analytics team as project team member on various organizational technology initiatives, including:
  • Data analytics tool implementation
  • SKU-level forecasting tool
  • Trade Promotion Management tool
  • Critically review existing business processes and make recommendations to improve efficiency and output. Challenge existing ways of doing things and always be thinking about how we can get better.


  • Bachelor s degree required; business, finance, economics or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience, ideally in a role heavy on data manipulation and analysis
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills including demonstrated ability to gather, analyze and process data.
  • Sound understanding of basic financial concepts, strong attention to detail, especially with calculations and numbers
  • Excellent communication skills, including ability to translate data into actionable solutions and recommendations to drive business results - story-telling
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal and external customers
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, vlookups, matching/merging, summarizing data, formatting, etc.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Experience with IRI/Nielsen or other syndicated data sources a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and set own direction
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities. Strong organization, time management skills and ability to work autonomously. Results oriented with the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
