Associate Marketing Director - OTC

We are currently looking for an Associate Marketing Director for our Allegan MI Sales and Marketing Headquarters.
Responsible for sustaining Perrigo's leadership position within the designated market segment consistent with the development and execution of Perrigo sales plans and long-term visions.
Knowledge, Experience and Education:
A Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing or a related field is required, with a Master in Business Administration preferred, combined with ten plus years' experience of relevant marketing experience.
Must possess thorough knowledge of OTC pharmaceutical industry and the Store Brand Industry.
Requires demonstrated ability to develop and execute a business plan, possess marketing creativity, well developed verbal and written communication skills and excellent project and time management skills.
Demonstrated leadership ability with proven track record. Requires sound decision making ability with proven ability to drive results autonomously.
Requires the ability to drive internal teams and develop a sense of urgency and have demonstrated knowledge of all aspects of the marketing mix including Pricing.
Computer literacy and advanced skills in the use of MS Excel, Power Point, and Word are required.
Requires self-motivation, marketing creativity, detail orientation, and commitment to deadlines.
Up to 30% travel may be required.
Major Duties:
Development of category reviews and attends customer sales calls for category reviews and new products presentations.
Identifies new product opportunities, oversees development, and launches new OTC products supported by best-in-class promotion programs
Provides organizational thought and leadership to monitor and manage trends in related market segments, and helps develop related strategies.
Develop Category Plans, Sales Forecasts, and Pricing
Develops over-the-counter product promotional materials that promote the financial benefits of prescribing select OTC products and target top industry targets.
Provides supervision for assigned staff including hiring, training, performance management, mentoring and development.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
