Assistant Marketing Manager

Perrigo Company plc is a leading global healthcare supplier that develops, manufactures and distributes over-the-counter (OTC) and prescription (Rx) pharmaceuticals, nutritional products, and active pharmaceutical ingredients (API). The company is the world's largest manufacturer of OTC pharmaceutical products for the store brand market and an industry leader in pharmaceutical technologies.
We are currently looking for an Assistant Marketing Manager with CPG experience to join our Perrigo Marketing Team in Allegan, MI.
The Assistant Marketing Manager will be responsible for tactical execution of key marketing strategies to improve margin and grow store brand share, among the base business product portfolio, with guidance from the Category Manager. Additionally, support Marketing by providing intelligence on new product trends or changes across national brand or competitor products.
Knowledge, Experience and Education:
Must possess basic knowledge of Marketing and Sales (preferred experience in Pharma Industry).
Able to demonstrate leadership qualities and strong written and verbal communication skills. Self Starter is a requirement. Computer literacy and advanced skills in the use of MS Excel, Power Point, and Word are required. Requires self-motivation, marketing creativity, detail orientation, commitment to deadlines, and ability to work successfully in a team environment.
A Bachelor degree in marketing, finance, business or related field is required, with a Master in Business Administration preferred, combined with 1-2 plus years of related business experience, preferably in Marketing or Sales.
Experience dealing with customers and vendors is desirable.
Minimal travel required.
Major Duties:
Build detailed product overviews to be used as a platform to develop overall strategies for base business growth, supporting the Category Manager with the overall strategy and executing on key tactical objectives.
Using 4P's - analyze BIC retailers by category/segment, share best practices with the Category Manager and assist in developing execution tactics for sales.
Manages product intelligence, including NB retail positioning, pricing, product claims, promotions and proposes NBE changes to the Category Manager.
Maintain master product lists for all categories.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
