Sr. Information Security Engineer

Perrigo is looking to expand its Information Security Engineering team by adding a Senior Information Security Engineer at our US Headquarters in Allegan, MI.  The Senior Information Security Engineer will be one of the key contributors to advancing the enterprise-wide information security program and ensure that data, information assets and critical infrastructure are protected.  You'll be the leading technical resource that implements, manages, and supports network security solutions to mitigate cyber threats. Responsibilities:  Assists in building and running Splunk for log management Assists in the maintaining and updating of Splunk Enterprise Security Assists in developing and updating mechanisms to address violations Assists in integrating the various security solutions into SOC Implements remediation initiatives to mitigate risks Participates in technology selection and implementation Works with Application and Infrastructure teams to maintain segmentation of the network Works with Infrastructure to implement and monitor network technologies Performs firewall, VPNs, and network load balancing configuration changes Assists in the implementation and enhancement of MSB standards (including for non-integrated sites) Engineers wireless security solutions Implements remediation plans resulting from the 3rd party security reviews Works with infrastructure services to remediate vulnerabilities identified from pentesting Assists in implementing controls and projects to address vulnerabilities Required Experience: 3+ years of experience in security engineering including the implementation of controls such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Data Protection Tools, etc. Experience designing secure networks, systems, applications, and cloud securityarchitectures Experience with Symantec Endpoint, IDS/IPS, L2L VPNs, AnyConnect VPNs, Cisco Umbrella, and Proofpoint Email filtering. Experience with F5 LTM, ASM, and APM Experience maintaining and troubleshooting access through Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls Basic understanding of network routing, segmentation, and IP subnetting to aid the troubleshooting of data flows Experience testing for vulnerabilities and monitoring for breaches Experience with Splunk and Splunk Enterprise Security Experience engineering according to security standards and compliance requirements including, but not limited to ISO27001 and NIST CSF/ 800-53 Knowledge of system integration requirements and mechanisms One or more active applicable certifications preferred: Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Cisco Certified Networking Professional Security (CCNP Security), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Information Systems Security Architecture Professional (ISSAP), Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (ISSEP) These skills are acquired through possession of a Bachelordegree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, or a relevant business discipline, combined with 6+ years' experience within Information Security.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
